Below you will find the terms and conditions for every event. Please review carefully before submitting your deposit. By submitting your deposit you are confirming that you have reviewed the terms and that you agree to our conditions. If you do not agree, please CALL US before making your deposit!
BOOKING AN EVENT
We have prearranged various optional packages. Please indicate which package you are interested in and specify a character look alike and or yummy edible treat if applicable. Your time starts when the entertainment arrives, so please try to schedule our arrival for when you think MOST of your guest will be there so that we can all get the most out of our time there! This is usually 2-3 hours after the arrival time on your invitation Unfortunately, we may not be able to change the time after you have made the deposit since we schedule multiple events on the same day. However, please note that your start time is an estimate and cannot be guaranteed 100% when there are factors beyond our control such as illness, traffic and weather but we promise to keep you informed all the way!
PARK & OUTDOOR EVENTS
Sorry we will no longer be booking park events, unless it is a corporate account. Please call for more details.
DEPOSITS /BOOKING FEES
All Packages require a deposit of 50% of the total due to secure your date and estimated time. Even if you provide all of the information for your event, we will NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. The deposits non refundable
BALANCES
The balance is payable in full one week prior to the date of your event via credit card or debit card.
PACKAGES
You can modify any portion of your package after you have selected and paid your deposit. Changes will be accepted via text or email up to 24 hours before your event. Packages are prepared according to the number of children agreed upon at the time of booking. In the event adults are included for any services at the event, it may affect the number of activities originally agreed upon. So please plan accordingly when booking.
ADDITIONAL FEE PER CHILD
At the time of the booking we request the # of children or guests expected. Should your guests increase by more than 5, there will be an additional fee of $10.00 per guest to whom services will be rendered. OR you can select the # of children you would like to have included in your original requests.
TOLLS
Tolls are not included in the price and will be additional applicable to your final balance. No Tolls for Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan or Long Island.
PAYPAL
Deposits are accepted via cashapp, google wallet, venmo, credit card, or debit card via Paypal. Should you choose to pay online, your payment is secure. We CANNOT see your personal information. Please remember to "ADD NOTE" for the seller (that is me) so that I can credit your deposit accordingly. Include the event address, date, time, your name and contact phone number, birthday child's name and package selected.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be received in writing via text or email at least 24 hours in advanced or you will be responsible for the balance as I will not be able to book your reserved time slot. ALTERATIONS TO YOUR PACKAGES CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED 24hours PRIOR To YOUR EVENT. NO SAME DAY CHANGES!!!!!
RAIN DATES/RESCHEDULING
A rain date or postponement will be honored if the alternate date and time slot is available, however, if JJ is already booked, we will make every attempt to secure an equally FUNTASTIC replacement.
REFUNDS
Please note that it is NOT our policy to issue refunds however we will consider a credit for future use in the event of a discrepancy, serious injury/illness or death and only after request has been sent via email by the client and reviewed for merit.
MISCELLANEOUS
Please ensure that all pets are secured prior to the entertainers arrival and that there is a cleared space close to an electrical outlet. We also need a table in a well lit area as we cannot do face painting in the dark.
Should any of the details for your event change prior to the date, please make every effort to contact us (via text, email, voice mail or phone call) and we will try to accommodate your request.
On most if not all occasions, photos will be taken with our digital camera and posted on my website! If you DO NOT WANT YOUR PHOTOS posted you MUST indicate that in the message portion when paying your deposit, otherwise, it will be understood that the photos are property of JJ The Clown to be posted and used at our discretion.

We LOVE KIDS! WE ARE PROFESSIONAL ENTERTAINERS, not to be confused with a child care provider or babysitter. Consequently, please ensure that there are adults monitoring and supervising your children/guests during our performance.
SAFETY
We are concerned that our staff and your guests are safe before, during and after our arrival. However, if we feel that there is a threat to our safety by either one of your guests, a pet, or a nearby environmental factor, we will have to end our show. There will be no refund, or rescheduling. Examples are not limited to: physical fights among guests, disorderly/intoxicated conduct, sexual harassment, fire, gunfire, gang activities, cannibus smoke.
LIABILITY
I forever release JJ The Clown & Friends, and Staff and representatives (collectively “Releases”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardian next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) my participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Releasee or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not I am then participating in the activities. I also agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of and Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.
